Cremation Placement
Cremation, once unheard of in the Catholic Church has become an increasingly common choice. As a result cremation niches were added in sections of the cloister's mausoleum in 1980. The first unit or columbarium as it is called, consisted of 77 spaces. In 1993 the Holy Cross niches were built, adding an additional 110 spaces, in 1997 the St Frances niches were built, with 160 spaces, and in 2005 the St Joseph niches were opened, with 162 spaces. Both the St Frances and St Joseph niches may be purchased as singles or doubles.
Another option is to place cremated remains in an existing grave. Up to three cremated remains may be placed in an occupied grave.
Many couples are choosing to purchase a plot for one full body burial and one inurnment of cremated remains. We will be happy to discuss the different options and help you select the one that best fits your needs.

Blessed are those who
have died in the Lord.
