                          Endowment Care

Many old cemeteries have been abandoned and neglected.  Growth covers forgotten graves and memorials.  An endowment care eliminates such problems in endowed cemeteries.

Calvary Cemetery is a fully endowed cemetery.  When a space is purchased, fifteen percent of the cost of the space is placed in an irrevocable trust fund.  The principal of this fund must remain intact with the interest income and earnings used only for maintenance and enhancement of the cemetery.

The endowment care fund ensures the continuing beauty and maintenance of the cemetery long after those who provided the funds are gone.  It is strictly regulated by the Washington State Cemetery Board.
